The engineering I did for many years was mainly half hour or so live sessions for Henry Ayrton's Real Music Show on BBC North local radio. Now the show has been closed I finally get time to develop my own studio and P.A. facility.
When it's live radio with sometimes very little time for the soundcheck, setting up becomes very important. You learn to trust your ears and experience!
